Richmond IRL

Not much to say about Richmond. It was kind of a snoozer and I don't quite understand what the IRL has done to the cars. A couple of years ago Indycars were some of the closest racing around. Now Scott Dixon gets stuck in traffic and Dario can't even close up on him.
I still like the short tracks and I know that they have always been tough to pass on but the aero thing seems way worse this year. Does anyone really know why. I thought I read that the wheelbase changed. Well, if that's it...Change it back!!
Patrick seems to be consistent now and Rahal finished third, something he's needed. He's been crashing lately. I thought Mutoh had a good run. I was surprised to see both Penske cars crash out. That's not the norm for them. I still love Indycars but I'm afraid this wasn't a very good show.
Hopefully Watkins Glen will be better.

About Crazy Ivan's Racing Blog
My website has come way to close to resembling actual work so I'm going to give blogging a try. Mostly I'll give unsolicited opinions about how things are going in the world of racing. As I'm not a professional sports writer I will make no attempt whatsoever at being objective. This will also be a venue for me to vent my frustrations on whichever racing governing body I believe is screwing things up at the moment.
